Selection, critical to the success of your organization

Making the right selection decisions is of great importance, personally, organizationally and financially. Through the use of a Selection Assessment, you get maximum return from the selection process.

Challenge

How do we select the right candidate for our organization without sacrificing speed in our selection process with attention to our specific organizational and job characteristics?

The Solution

A selection assessment by Kenhardt delivers better performing employees. It saves a lot of time and money and prevents (too) many costly interviews. A good selection process gives speed. We like to think critically about this. What works for one organization, does not necessarily work for another. Kenhardt is characterized by customization, we know our clients really well and understand what is important to them.

Return

Selecting the right candidate has a big impact on your organisation’s bottom line. This is because the difference between the return of an average performer or a high performer is huge. Read more about this in the article Assessment as a business case. It shows that an assessment is an investment with a very high return.

Customised

The assessment is tailor-made. It starts with a sharp analysis of the question, understanding the context and a thorough job analysis. The assessment often consists of a combination of practical simulations, questionnaires, ability tests and interviews. Depending on the context, level and content of the job, we determine what is needed in consultation with you. Participants can do part of the assessment at home via a secure portal, and part of it on location or remotely. This allows participants to easily fit it into their schedules and we are fast and flexible in our planning.

We summarise our findings in a factual, honest and competence-oriented report. Our advice is sharp and to the point. We conform to the guidelines of the Netherlands Institute of Psychologists, which means, among other things, that there is a right of inspection and blocking for participants in our assessments.

The result

An effective selection process with maximum yield from assessments and minimum risk of mismatch. Each report comes with advice on suitability and development-oriented tips for coaching and further development.

Participants’ experiences

  • “A valuable experience in a professional environment.”
  • “Clear and well-organised report. Good tips that I will take to heart.”
  • “Pithy and challenging day and satisfied with the result.”
  • “Was looking forward to it a bit. In the end a fun and informative day.”
